- Damage to esophageal lining due to a pill- pill esophagitis.
- Food allergy of the esophagus known as Eosinophilic esophagitis.
- Muscular rings and web formation can cause difficulty in swallowing.
- When the lower end of the esophagus fails to relax in response to food, the condition is known as Achalasia cardia, can present with such complaints.
- Tumor in esophogus or upper end of stomach can cause difficulty in swallowing.
